Kim Hui works were featured in "The Earth in 2000",
a FIAP Photographic Project to commemorate the Millennium.
The publication was first launched in Prato, Italy on
29th July 2001, with an exhibition held in conjunction.
One of the works, capturing the highest mood of the
Millennium National Day Parade celebration with fireworks
and swinging lights displayed at the Padang, was featured
as the introduction to this millennium collection.
Together with another work, showing the ever changing
of Singapore skyline, he exhibited the achievement of
Singapore to the world with images.
The collection was organised by FIAP, to photograph
the earth, from the human point of view, from 1st January
to 31st December 2000. A total of 1673 photographs were
received from 783 photographers worldwide. 250 photographs
were selected and published in this collection.
